A crusader for love and passion.
This is an authentic and museum quality recreation (certified from the blacksmith) of a genuine historic 13th century sword, it is consecrated by a priest of my hometown, goes by the Name "Barmunge" and ,best of all, - it belongs to me.
"Barmunge" is an old medieval german dialect word for "compassion". It could be interpreted as mercyful if left in the sheath or showing mery when striking the final blow, ending the pain of the woundet opponent.
Back in the medieval days of Minne, gallantry, chevalry and knighthood a noble man went into a fight for his true love eysily. trying to win his true loves heart in a tournament or a fight of life and death with another rival.
